    I miss sewing blogs :/

    I always wanted a sewing blog, but by the time I finished nursing school and felt like I actually had enough free time to sew and write like all the bloggers I admired, it felt impossible that there was any room for me in people’s readers. Guess what? Now I don’t care! I’m starting a sewing blog simply because I love sewing blogs! I miss opening up my Feedly and learning, laughing, and getting inspired.

    So I’m going to document and share the things I make. I’ll share honestly. I won’t hold back on details. In short, I’ll be blogging like it’s 2008!

    Do you have a favorite sewing blog that is still in existence? Bonus points if not associated with a pattern or fabric company. Please share it here! (Maybe I’ll figure out how the heck a blog roll works 🤷‍♀️).

    And, in order to keep expectations low, here’s an honest view of my sewing space on an average day.

About Me

Hi! My name is Hailey. I am a 34 year old Oregonian with a serious sewing obsession. I dabble in some other creative interests, such as gardening, rudimentary home improvement, and my semiannual attempts to learn to knit.

Between my job as a psych nurse, taking care of an aging bengal, assisting my husband with his creative endeavors, and raising two children, free time is at a premium. This can lead to sporadic completion of projects, but sewing remains a nearly-daily practice :)
